El establecimiento de un entorno de vac\u00edo puede lograrse mediante equipos como bombas de vac\u00edo.<\/li><li><strong>Calentamiento del material:<\/strong>En el proceso PVD, el material objetivo se calienta hasta su temperatura de evaporaci\u00f3n. El calentamiento puede ser por resistencia, inducci\u00f3n o haz de electrones. Mediante el calentamiento, los \u00e1tomos o mol\u00e9culas superficiales del material adquieren la energ\u00eda suficiente para superar la tensi\u00f3n superficial y transformarse en estado gaseoso.<\/li><li><strong>Evaporaci\u00f3n o pulverizaci\u00f3n cat\u00f3dica:<\/strong>Una vez que el material alcanza una temperatura suficiente, comienza a evaporarse o a bombardearse. Durante la evaporaci\u00f3n, el material se transforma directamente en estado gaseoso, mientras que durante la pulverizaci\u00f3n cat\u00f3dica, part\u00edculas energ\u00e9ticas (normalmente iones de gases nobles) bombardean la superficie del material s\u00f3lido, haciendo que libere \u00e1tomos o mol\u00e9culas.<\/li><li><strong>Deposici\u00f3n:<\/strong>Los vapores o iones del material se depositar\u00e1n sobre la superficie del sustrato objetivo para formar una pel\u00edcula fina.
